Joe Mineo Creative is a nationally recognized and award-winning event design company. With every corporate event, wedding, and private party we create, plan, or manage, our team provides clients with a unique design, exceptional service, and a sophisticated presentation.

Job Overview:

Joe Mineo Creative is seeking an Event Assistant who would be responsible for assisting with day-to-day office activities and supporting the Event Consultants.

Responsibilities:

  • Works closely and communicates with Event Producers
  • Attend weekly meetings and assists in making copies and prepares documents needed for the meeting
  • Track and update inventory of in-house rentals and update event software continually
  • Answer the phone and distribute calls/messages accordingly
  • After training, be knowledgeable in fielding new clients and navigating to the appropriate locations
  • Organize schedules and calendars to keep track of incoming inquires, in-studio meetings, etc.
  • Create binders when new clients are booked, and inventory past event binders
  • Prepare copies/documents for prior to storyboards, meetings, presentations, and proto-types
  • Prepare common area for proto-type and in-studio meetings
  • Assist in coordinating appointments with clients and vendors
  • File event receipts into appropriate binders following event reconciliation by accounting
  • Other tasks as assigned by Event Producers, Event Designers, COO, and Owner
  • Follows all safety guidelines according to company policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of administrative experience
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Ability to understand, read, write, and speak English
  • Proficient in Microsoft products
  • Ability to think out of the box and problem-solve when needed
  • Good verbal and written communication skills to communicate successfully with the team
  • Ability to multitask and delegate when needed
  • Must be 18 years old or older
  • Interest in the event industry is a bonus. Eager to learn the event industry
