In preparation for the retirement of one of our valued team members, we are looking for a FT Marketing & Events Administrative Assistant to come on board at RHS. This is very much an administrative clerical position working directly with our Executive VP/VP of Marketing in Alliance, Ohio.
Some of the job responsibilities would include:
Company Events
- -Secure venues, contracts, deposits, menus, equipment, table/chair rentals, certificates of liability, parking permits/instructions for all attendees etc.
- -Prepare and send invitations, track RSVP’s (in event manager), vendor payments and expo expenses, expo training classes, etc.
Customer Meetings, Golf Outings, other events
- -Research venues, price comparisons, set dates, submit contracts, secure catering, deposits, etc.
- -Invitations, flyers, rsvp’s, hotel reservations, maintain master list of all attendees, etc.
- -Prepare all meeting materials and help execute successful meetings.
Flights, Travel, Hotel Room Blocks
- - Manage registrations, hotel room bookings, hotel room blocks, flights and ground transportation for company including executive travel, annual functions, meetings, conventions, and other events.
Additional Duties as assigned –
- -Maintaining marketing materials and promo items inventory, managing shared calendars, expense reporting, debit memo’s, co-op management, etc.
Technology Required:
- -Excel Microsoft Office 365—need to know how to create a spreadsheet and format it, including basic formulas, sorting, filtering copy & paste.
- -Word for typing documents when needed, creating labels, etc.
- -Email is Microsoft Outlook, replying to emails, sending emails with attachments.
- -Will be trained in using Onyx, Event Manager, and other programs used.

- -Great customer service – as you are representing RHS while interacting with vendors, customers, sales associates, venue representatives, etc.
- -Be trustworthy, dependable, & work independently.
Hours: Monday through Friday – 7:30am-4:30pm
