This role will be critical in the successful assessment and optimization project and ongoing administration of our ERP systems, requiring a blend of ERP expertise and solid systems administration skills. The ideal candidate will be a team player in configuring, optimizing, and maintaining an already implemented ERP solution.
Key Primary Responsibilities:
1. Plex ERP:
Assist in assessing and optimizing the Plex ERP system, collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and customize reports accordingly.
Conduct thorough system testing and validation to ensure accurate functionality and data integrity.
Manage data migration processes, ensuring a smooth transition from legacy systems to the Plex ERP platform.
2. Customization and Optimization:
Customize and configure Plex ERP solutions to align with organizational processes and objectives.
Proactively identify opportunities for system optimization and efficiency improvements, implementing changes to enhance overall performance.
3. Training and Documentation:
Develop comprehensive documentation for Plex ERP configurations and standard operating procedures.
Provide training sessions for end-users and support staff to ensure a proficient understanding of Plex ERP functionality and usage.
5. Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate with key stakeholders, including the IT team, department heads, and external vendors, to ensure effective communication and alignment of Plex ERP initiatives with organizational goals.
Regularly communicate project updates, timelines, and potential challenges to relevant stakeholders.
Key Secondary Responsibilities:
1. Systems Administration:
Administer and maintain the overall health and performance of the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, databases, and networks.
Implement security protocols and best practices to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve end-user and system-related issues, minimizing downtime.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
A Minimum of five years of proven experience in Plex ERP implementation and systems administration.
Proficient in Plex ERP software with hands-on experience configuring and optimizing Plex ERP solutions.
A Strong systems administration understanding, including server management, network troubleshooting, and user support.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic environment.
