The ERP Support Engineer is a key member of our Application Development team providing support for environments, code deployment, DevOps, system configuration, upgrade, security administration, and monitoring, for our D365 Finance environment.
The ERP Support Engineerwill also be responsible for working with team to design, test and implement technical solutions to support needed integrations, reporting, forms, and customizations as defined by business requirements. This position will provide a foundation in D365 development for those willing to learn through the support and debugging process.
TheERP Support Engineerwill:
- Schedule and manage code deployment to Test and Production environments.
- Work closely with the Application Development team to monitor and troubleshoot the D365 Production environment.
- Provide support on production and testing issues.
- Work with internal teams and vendors to plan, schedule, and implement system rollouts, patches, releases, and upgrades using LCS, Azure DevOps, and Azure Pipelines.
- Act as a technical liaison and work collaboratively with vendors, internal departments, and IT for Dynamics 365 and integrated applications.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of Dynamics 365 data export projects and corresponding feed into Azure SQL databases.
- Assist with the configuration and implementation of third-party systems.
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, and partners, on new requirements, system enhancements, and upgrades.
- Manage D365 security roles, users, roles, profiles, groups, queues, and other setup options as necessary.
- Manage Production, UAT, & development environments; this includes creating new environments and performing database refreshes as needed.
PAWsome ERP Support Engineer candidates will have:
- Two years of experience with Azure DevOps management, pipelines.
- Two years of experience in D365 Systems Administration and Configuration.
- Bachelor's degree or related field experience.
- Good understanding of Microsoft LCS (Life Cycle Services), DevOps, and azure cloud-hosted environments.
- Ability to logically troubleshoot technical problems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in other technologies such as SQL and Power Platform.
- Strong professional communication (both verbal and non-verbal) and interpersonal skills necessary to express ideas and influence others appropriately.
- Ability to work with and build relationships with a variety of individuals and groups at all levels in a constructive and collaborative manner.
- Basic understanding of code development and debugging.
- Customer service and results oriented.
- Knowledge of the Retail industry is strongly desired.
- Willingness to learn.
