SalaryAtlas Geosciences NW, a growing environmental consulting firm, is seeking an environmental geologist/scientist/engineer for one of our offices in Puyallup/Tacoma, Issaquah, or Olympia, or remotely in the Portland/Vancouver area. This is a full-time salary position performing and/or overseeing (depending on experience) Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, soil, groundwater and/or soil vapor investigations, assisting with or managing remediation projects, and various research, report writing, and other office tasks. Ideal candidate will have a minimum of a B.S. degree in geology, environmental science, environmental engineering and/or other relevant science. We are considering various experience levels (depending on qualifications and office location) but the ideal candidate would have a minimum of 6 years of direct environmental consulting experience (above and beyond advanced degree or other institutional research work). No mud logging resumes please. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. 40-hour HAZWOPER certification is preferred. WA UST Site Assessor certification is preferred.
