In this position, you will be part of a 12-month trainee program. Where you will gain valuable knowledge and experience that will lead to a final job placement in the design unit. You will be preparing roadway, bridge, and structural plans, maps, and similar drawings utilizing computer aided drafting and design (CADD) software or traditional drafting techniques. Additionally, you will prepare erosion and sedimental pollution control plans, assist with computations and cost estimates for projects, and interpret survey notes and engineering data. Field trips may be required to gather information for plan preparation.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, on an ad hoc basis. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Oil City.

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- An associate degree in surveying, drafting, designing, civil, or any other appropriate field of engineering technology.
- Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
