Employee Scheduling Specialist

Aquila Protective Services / Denver Metro Protective Services is a Colorado-based provider of security guard, patrol and other public safety services with nearly 300 employees throughout the state. We are currently seeking an Employee Schedule Specialist to work in our Aurora, CO offices to complete the weekly schedule. As an Employee Schedule Specialist, you will be required to contact various employees to fill shift assignments, discuss schedule changes with current personnel, update assignments as needed and work closely with the HR and Onboarding Teams to find the proper site assignments for new employees.

Responsibilities:
- Create a weekly employee schedule for various departments within the organization
-Communicate with current and new employees to find the best locations for each for duties, staying within licensing protocols and requirements

Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize
- Previous experience as an employee scheduler, with preference given to those with experience in a similar industry
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Proficient in using Google Suite or similar software for scheduling and document management
- Attention to detail and strong proofreading skills is a must
