VuePoint Diagnostics is an Alabama owned, certified portable X-ray supplier and Mobile Screening Services provider that was established to not only fill the void of a quality mobile provider in this region and beyond, but also to exceed even the highest standards our clients have. It is our goal to continually improve and provide the best possible service and support to our clients and their patients and residents.
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the position of Member Scheduler Specialist. The Member Scheduler Specialist will serve as a liaison between the company and our current or potential members. The primary responsibility of this role is to efficiently and effectively schedule member appointments. The Member Scheduler Specialist plays a crucial role in facilitating the smooth mobile screening operation and providing excellent customer service.
The Member Scheduler Specialist reports to the Health Screening Call Center Manager and/or Call Center Team Lead.
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Schedule Member appointments: Utilize scheduling software to efficiently facilitate appointment scheduling of in-home screening exams.
  • Provide Customer Service: Respond promptly and professionally to member inquiries, resolve any scheduling conflicts, and assist in handling any concerns or complaints related to appointment scheduling.
  • Verify Patient Information: Collect and confirm accurate patient information during the scheduling process.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Adhere to all privacy and confidentiality regulations, maintaining patient confidentiality while handling and protecting sensitive information. Complete necessary documentation related to scheduling activities accurately and efficiently.
  • Customer Service: Show courtesy and respect in all situations, ensuring a positive customer experience. Collaborate with other Members and Field Technicians to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Demonstrate adherence to all VuePoint Diagnostics policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2+ years' experience in a customer service role required
  • Minimum 1+ years' experience in a call center environment preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong understanding of phone-based customer service work environments
  • Experience in healthcare or healthcare related setting, or familiarity with medical terminology preferred
  • Exceptional customer service skills including effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to think critically to resolve scheduling challenges or customer concerns
  • Must be able to type 40 wpm
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred
  • Ability to ensure confidentiality of all patients and other relevant information under HIPAA Guidelines
  • Must be able to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations

Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams. Ability to adapt to rapidly evolving software.
