Position: Restaurant Supervisor

Reporting to: Operationa manager
**Job Summary:**
The Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and cleanliness. They will lead and motivate the restaurant staff, assist in training new employees, and collaborate with the management team to achieve financial targets and operational goals.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Supervisory Duties:**
- Lead and direct the restaurant staff during shifts, ensuring smooth operations.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively to team members.
- Monitor employee performance and provide feedback and coaching as needed.
- Maintain a positive and professional work environment.
2. **Customer Service:**
- Ensure that guests receive prompt, friendly, and personalized service.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Interact with guests to gather feedback and improve service quality.
3. **Operations Management:**
- Oversee the opening and closing procedures of the restaurant.
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.
- Manage reservation systems and seating arrangements efficiently.
4. **Training and Development:**
- Assist in training new employees on restaurant policies, procedures, and standards.
- Provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities to staff members.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
**Qualifications and Skills:**
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
**Education:**
- High school diploma or equivalent. Additional education or training in hospitality management is a plus.
-Food Handler certification needed.
**Physical Requirements:**
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects for extended periods.
- Stamina and resilience to work long shifts in a dynamic environment.
