Estimates currently suggest that approximately 12M dogs and cats are developing cancer every year, which is roughly 6x the number of humans getting cancer yearly within North America.

About the Position:
PCF is seeking an experienced Email Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in engaging our audience, driving awareness, and supporting our mission of enhancing pet health and cancer awareness through targeted and effective Email Marketing campaigns. You will have the opportunity to lead the development and execution of our Email Marketing strategy, leveraging data-driven insights to deliver personalized and impactful communications to our subscribers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an Email Marketing strategy aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
- Create compelling email campaigns, including newsletters, announcements, promotions, and fundraising appeals.
- Manage our Email Marketing platform, ensuring optimal functionality, deliverability, and compliance with regulations.
- Segment our email list based on subscriber demographics, behavior, and preferences to deliver targeted and relevant content.
- Design and optimize email templates and layouts for enhanced engagement and conversion rates.
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to assess campaign effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct A/B testing experiments to optimize subject lines, content, calls-to-action, and other elements of our email campaigns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align Email Marketing efforts with overall marketing strategies and initiatives.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in Email Marketing to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
About You:
We are looking for a creative and analytical individual with a passion for Email Marketing and a commitment to our mission. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. You should be results-oriented, proactive, and able to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously. You have:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Email Marketing, preferably in a non-profit or healthcare organization.
- Proficiency in Email Marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or HubSpot.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with Email Marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Knowledge of Email Marketing best practices, CAN-SPAM Act, CASL, and other relevant regulations.
- Experience with HTML/CSS and email template design is a plus.
- Passion for pets and commitment to the mission of the Pet Cancer Foundation.
