Computer Systems Analyst (Long Island City, NY)

Provide high-level system maintenance, data analysis and implementation of multiple level network security focusing on cyber-attacks in the construction industry. Install management tools to capture data, cross-dock, route, code and compliance labeling towards labor cost reduction. Ensure security software is kept up-to-date and troubleshoot network and software issues. Configure and manage Microsoft Server and Exchange 2003/2008R2/2012R2, with Powershell expertise. Administer, configure, maintain, and upgrade various VM technologies including, but not limited to vCenter Server, vCenter converter, vSphere, vMotion, and Virtual SAN. Administer and configure NAS and SAN technologies from various vendors, such as Abderdeen, Buffalo, EMC, HP and EqualLogic. Implement, troubleshoot and train from Mimecast and various anti-spam technologies. Install, configure, and troubleshoot all network equipment, routers, firewall, switches, wireless access points, and SSL-VPN setups from various vendors, such as Cisco, Extreme, HP, Meraki, Netgear, SonicWALL, UniFi. Provide disaster recovery and backup solutions and support using eVault, Zerto, Veeam, Shadow Protect, and others.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, applied science in information technology, or other related discipline and one year of experience in multiple Windows-based client environments, architecture, and configuration of Microsoft OS Technology: AD Forests, Domains, Trusts, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and Organizational Units.
• Functional knowledge of construction industry operations and requirements of City agencies.
• Experience with VMare and Citrix XenApp, PowerShell, Meraki technologies.
• Functional knowledge may be acquired through any combination of work experience, education, training, or internship.

Schedule/salary: 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday; $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
