Enrichment Teacher - Half Day
Roles and Responsibilities
- Work with the Site Coordinator to plan and/or implement an established plan for appropriate activities during programming.
- Participate in all trainings related to the component area you will be implementing.
- Incorporate 30 minutes of planning daily into schedule to prepare for programming.
- Address individual children's needs under the guidance of the Site Coordinator.
- Submit group attendance to the Site Coordinator as designated by program policy.
- Supervise field trips, including trips to the pool.
- Supervise students during breakfast and/or lunch.
- Complete Activity Log daily to track lessons.
- Utilize appropriate activities within Save the Children's Physical Activity Toolkit to implement daily 30-minute rotations of moderate-to-vigorous physical activity with all participating children.
- Submit group attendance daily to the Site Coordinator as designated by program policy.
- Complete Activity Log daily to track lessons.

Terms of Employment
- Half Day - June 17, 2024 - July 25, 2024, Monday through Thursday, 12:00 - 3:00 P.M.
Qualifications
Successful candidates must have teacher and/or administrative certification at the appropriate programmatic level. Should no certified teacher or administrator apply, other applicants will be considered (e.g., college students, community members, substitute teachers, service personnel).
*Successful candidates must complete mandatory training conducted by Save the Children prior to the start of the program.
Compensation
$150 per day for half day instructors
