About the Role
A reputed healthcare institution in the Atlanta region is in search of a trained and committed EKG Technician. The individual will play an integral role in our Cardiology Department and help to provide high-quality care to each one of our patients. Responsibilities
- Conducting electrocardiograms and other cardiac diagnostic tests as needed.
- Setting up holter monitors, and explaining the procedure to patients.
- Recognizing critical heart rhythms and notifying the patient's healthcare team.
- Maintaining and cleaning EKG machines on a regular basis.
- Scheduling tests, confirming appointments and coordinating with other healthcare professionals.
- Keeping track of patient reports and documents in an organized manner.

Requirements
- Possess a high school diploma or GED.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Provide proof of COVID vaccination.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be CPR certified.
- Can work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to work well in a team-oriented setting.
