We are now hiring for a Distribution Coordinator Mon - Fri 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM! The Distribution Coordinate is Responsible of executing the distribution of Finished Goods from plants 110 (PDM) and 710 LRD) as per customer requirements, inventory levels and Medline Industries overall service strategy.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:- Review all emails and the SPT's expedite reports, including but not limited, PC request, Teams urgent request, R49, etc. Identify material status and determine next actions needed to comply with requirements.
- *Ensure daily "Expedites" pick list get shipped out same day and notify when something did not shipped.
- Provides and communicates clear instructions to Production, Sterilizer and Distribution Operations Team about Finished Goods (FG) needed for distribution. Follows up and ensures all FG is shipped out the door.
- Updates expedites reports with latest status, before end of business day. Provide tracking information or shipping status when available.
- Provides LSR information to the Distribution Operation Team, when applicable.
- Executes expedite pull report (FedEx / UPS) on all applicable LSR's and FG coming out of the production area. Provides report to the Distribution Operation Team for their execution.
- Create stock transfer orders or sales orders through SAP for all items moved to the FedEx line on a daily basis. Provides pick sheets to Distribution Operation Team for all FG needed for the day. Looks for and provide answers on any questions or doubts from the operations regarding the distributions of any FG.
- Advices the Distribution Operation Team of any Hazmat or special requirements needed for shipping FG.
- Creates Green Tag (Ready for distribution) and Yellow Tag (Pending sterilization) LSR's and reports them to their respective operations teams.
- Process Bill-outs for all FG shipped out of LRD, 110 and 710, in timely manner or end of business day.
- Investigate and resolve Branch discrepancies (OSI Report) and communicate to Ops directors of findings
- Collaborates with the Distribution Account Services (corporate) team to create PO's for the VMI distribution process.
- Provides LTL BOL's to Distribution Operation Team.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- High School diploma or equivalent.
Relevant Work Experience
- At least 1 year prior work experience.
Additional
- Experience in processing all relevant details, understanding and prioritizing their importance and drawing clear and concise conclusions.
- Experience in reviewing and reconnecting on actions and with people to ensure the completion of the task.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Relevant Work Experience
- Previous warehouse shipping experience.
- SAP knowledge.
