Job Summary:
The Receiving and Distribution Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the receipt, storage, and Distribution of goods within an organization. They play a key role in ensuring that products are received accurately, stored efficiently, and distributed timely to meet operational needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receiving:
• Receive incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy in quantity and quality.
• Inspect deliveries for damages or discrepancies and report issues to the appropriate parties.
• Record and document received items in the inventory management system.
• Inventory Management:
• Organize and maintain inventory storage areas to maximize efficiency.
• Monitor inventory levels and order replenishments as needed.
• Conduct regular stock checks to reconcile physical inventory with system records.
• Distribution:
• Coordinate the efficient distribution of goods to various departments or locations.
• Collaborate with other departments to fulfill internal requests and maintain smooth workflow.
• Ensure accurate documentation of outgoing shipments.
• Quality Control:
• Implement quality control measures to ensure that products meet specified standards.
• Collaborate with vendors to address quality issues and discrepancies.
• Communication:
• Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve issues or discrepancies.
• Provide status updates to relevant parties on the progress of shipments and deliveries.
• Documentation:
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions, including receipts, distributions, and returns.
• Generate and analyze reports related to inventory levels, distribution efficiency, and other relevant metrics.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
• Proven experience in a similar role, demonstrating competence in receiving, inventory management, and Distribution.
• Familiarity with inventory management software and systems.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
