CHEQ is a global company with offices in Tel Aviv, New York, London, and Tokyo. The Director of Product Marketing role is preferred in New York, though remote work may be possible for an exceptional candidate.
We’re looking for an experienced Director of Product Marketing to head our Product Marketing function as well as lead full-platform Product Marketing and analyst relations. As our first-ever head of Product Marketing, you will be responsible for developing a best-in-class Product Marketing function within CHEQ, including the hiring and development of Product Marketing managers to oversee each of our core solutions, and will be the liaison between Marketing, Product, and our Go-to-Market organizations. To succeed in this role, you will become an expert on CHEQ’s target personas, which span Marketing and Cybersecurity leadership, and a champion for our products, masterfully connecting the two into the most effective messaging, packaging, marketing collateral, and go-to-market strategies.
Our ideal candidate will enter the role with extensive experience in enterprise B2B/SaaS Product Marketing, preferably at category-creating, fast-growing companies, and will have a deep understanding of today’s global cyber security landscape and its impact on go-to-market teams.
This high-impact, high-visibility role reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer.
Responsibilities:
- Own Platform Product Marketing: Lead overall positioning, messaging, competitive intelligence, and analyst relations for the CHEQ platform, spanning products for marketing, security, and go-to-market leadership.
- Build a Best-in-Class Product Marketing Function: As the head of Product Marketing, you will define the function and how it operates, and work together with Product and Go-to-Market leadership to set expectations, goals, and KPIs that align teams and fuel CHEQ’s market dominance.
- Bring New Products to Market: Lead Marketing’s role in bringing new and updated products to market, including contextualizing offerings for internal and external teams (market research, competitive intelligence); partnering with Sales Enablement on team trainings; creating compelling and differentiated positioning and narratives; developing and executing impactful integrated communication, content & campaign plans; driving client awareness and adoption, and more.
- Advance our Category Leadership: Establish and confirm clear category leadership through strategic and ongoing Analyst Relations - both for the platform and individual products.
- Be the Expert & Champion: Deeply understand our platform, products, value, target market, market trends, and competitive landscape – and make our go-to-market org even better by continually instilling that knowledge.
- Ensure Our Team’s Success: Maintain a deep and up-to-date understanding of current prospect, client, and partner pain points, objections, and friction so Product Marketing continually supplies a library of highly relevant assets that address real challenges, overcome objections, remove roadblocks, accelerate deals, boost win rates, and help our team succeed!
Requirements:
- 8+ years of Product Marketing experience in the B2B technology sector, with at least 4+ years of experience in high-growth, global B2B SaaS.
- Demonstrated excellence in crafting highly compelling, differentiated narratives and materials that are memorable, impactful, and drive meaningful outcomes. (You will be asked to provide sample work)
- Experience marketing a tech platform comprised of multiple products that serve distinct personas across industries and regions.
- Proven track record of collaborating well with cross-functional teams spanning Product, R&D, and go-to-market functions.
- Experience building and developing a well-regarded Product Marketing team.
- Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, goal- and execution-oriented environment.
- Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity, including with stakeholders at all levels of seniority.
- Ability to work hours that enable effective partnership with key stakeholders located in Tel Aviv, NYC, and the UK.
- Note:Prior experience at one or more cyber security, fraud prevention, and/or data privacy vendors, or similar, is strongly preferred.
The base pay range for this position is $175-$200k per year. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills, length of service, and geographic location.
