About The Role

The Senior Director of Identity Data Product Development will be responsible for helping craft strategy and driving implementation around identity resolution, capabilities, and integrations for Hearst Consumer Media. Reporting to the SVP of Data Product Development, this role is responsible for developing and prioritizing an identity roadmap given priorities from across the business, identifying and working with necessary partners to craft solutions, and refine and optimize identity strategies over time.

Key Responsibilities Include:

   Help define identity resolution product vision and strategy for key business unit partners holistically across all of Hearst Consumer Media. 
   Help create and maintain identity resolution strategies, inclusive of integration with 3rd party operational platforms, data capture requirements, and data quality controls. 
   Accountable for building and maintaining knowledge of Consumer Media first party data assets and act as a subject matter expert regarding data assets.  
   Act as the primary point of contact between the Identity Resolution platform, CDPs, and other AdTech solutions, and project manage the deployment and activation of data technology solutions.
   Partner with internal marketing, subscription/membership, and programmatic teams to develop POCs, MVPs and support campaign activation and other advanced data use cases.
   Set product roadmaps tactically up to 1 year out and strategically greater than a year out.
   Communicate effectively with stakeholders across Hearst and manage stakeholder business value across multiple business units.
   Work closely with Hearst Technology Solutions to translate data engineering requirements for a broad range of Data Products and applications. 
   Identify, build, and manage key vendor/partner relationships and be able to suggest and influence roadmaps that benefit the identity roadmap; set strategy and roadmaps for how identity is implemented and used across partners.

Qualifications/Requirements

   At least 7 years' experience in product management and/or Product Development including crafting identity resolution strategies and optimizing identity resolutions and identity signal match rates.
   Extensive experience with identity solutions like TransUnion, Experian, Merkle, Acxiom, LiveRamp, etc.
   Experience with data clean rooms, CDPs, DMP and other related SaaS solutions. 
   Fluency with publisher, advertiser and marketer need for consumer Data Products
   Proven track record leveraging 1st and 3rd party data for identity resolution.
   Bachelor's degree in statistics, physics, computer science, mathematics, or relevant field.

In accordance with applicable law, Hearst is required to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role if hired in New York City. The reasonable estimate, if hired in New York City, is $240,000 to $270,000. Please note this information is specific to those hired in New York City. If this role is open to candidates outside of New York City, the salary range would be aligned to that specific location. A final decision on the successful candidate's starting salary will be based on a number of permissible, non-discriminatory factors, including but not limited to skills and experience, training, certifications, and education.
