DIRECTOR OF PEOPLE AND HUMAN RESOURCES (HR) STRATEGY, Media Lab, to serve as a key member of the lab’s senior leadership team and advisor to the director on HR and organizational issues. Will collaborate with senior management on HR strategic planning and develop, lead, and implement activities to meet the lab’s goals; collaborate with staff on devising and implementing HR strategy; develop tools to measure progress and pursue continuous improvement; apply workplace climate research and survey data to inform HR policy/procedures; manage organizational change; foster a diverse, equitable, inclusive work environment; facilitate identification and engagement of top talent, including search and visa processes; act as a resource on job classification, hiring, compensation, retention, performance development, management, skill/career development, succession planning, HR policies/practices, and best practices; initiate staff enrichment, professional development, training, and team-building activities; resolve employee relations issues; and serve on committees/projects.
