Now Hiring: Full-time Animal Care Supervisor

At Dakin Humane Society, we are committed to the well-being and care of animals. We believe in creating a safe and nurturing environment for staff, volunteers, and the animals in our care. We are currently seeking a highly organized and self-motivated individual with Animal Care experience to join our team as our Animal Care Supervisor.

As the Animal Care Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our Animal Care services. We are searching for someone who has excellent organizational skills to coordinate schedules, manage resources, and plan daily tasks efficiently. This position requires a blend of leadership, hands-on Animal Care expertise, and responding to urgent and unexpected situations with composure and effective decision-making.

Pay range: $18.00 to $20.00 depending on experience.

Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday (schedule may change based on organizational needs).

Sign-On Bonus!

Bilingual English/Spanish candidates who apply to Dakin will receive a $500 bonus if they are hired and after they successfully reach 90 days of employment. Bilingual candidates must be fluent in both written and verbal communication to qualify for this bonus.

Experience Requirements:

• Proven experience as a team lead, supervisor, or experienced trainer.
• Knowledge of basic domestic care and safe/humane animal handling.
• Knowledge of animal welfare issues is a plus.
