As a Director of Operations at Honolulu Coffee you are responsible for providing

Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsibilities and essential role functions include but are not limited to the
following:
Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision in a fast and
rapidly changing environment. Demonstrated time-management skills effectively
prioritize work activities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Leadership - Setting goals for the team, developing organizational capability, and
modeling collaboration:
● Develops the store and operational warehouse leadership team within the
market to deliver guest experiences founded with the Spirit of Aloha in all
stores.
● Can effectively supervise, coach and develop, general managers, senior
team leads and team leads to their fullest potential.
● Drives the implementation of company programs by inspiring and
supporting the store and warehouse leadership team within the market to
develop and implement action plans that meet operational and
organizational objectives.
● Leads with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture,
values and mission of Honolulu Coffee.
● Plans, identifies, communicates and delegates key responsibilities and
practices to the store and warehouse leadership team to ensure smooth
flow of Operations within the market.
● Reviews store and warehouse environments and key business indicators
within the market to identify problems, concerns, and opportunities for
improvement in order to provide coaching to the store leadership team to
take action and achieve operational goals.
● Implements and reinforces high performance standards to objectively
assess individual skills and development needs that improve
performance.
● Communicates Effectively, both verbally and in writing, to all levels of the
organization and in a variety of settings.
Planning and Execution - Developing strategic and operational plans for the
team, managing execution, and measuring results.
● Creates market implementation plans to support execution of regional and
company initiatives to achieve both operational excellence and business
results. Follows up consistently to ensure accountability to plans.
● Monitors and manages market-wide leadership staffing levels. Ensures
leadership-level partner development and talent acquisition in order to
achieve and maintain market operational requirements.
● Utilizes existing tools to identify and prioritize communications and filters
communications to the store leadership team within the market. Communicates clearly, concisely and accurately in order to ensure effective operations at the store and market level.
Business Requirements - Providing functional expertise and executing functional
responsibilities:
● Financial analysis and forecasting
● Thorough understanding of general business principles.
● Ability to think strategically and capitalize on business opportunities to
drive sales and profits. Must be fully skilled with computers, software and
all peripherals (including backup systems, printers, etc.), cellular and office
telephones, presentation equipment, facsimile machines and other equipment common to office environment.
Qualifications:

● Excellent interpersonal and guest service skills
● Minimum 2 years of multi-unit manager experience
● Steady progression in restaurant leadership, including experience in both
FOH and BOH
● Familiar with manufacturing and distribution lines of business
● Approachable in nature with a passion for quality and service
● Experience in high volume, at least $2 million in sales per year
● Evidence of loyalty and personal accountability
● Proven ability to train and motivate a team
● Ability to deliver feedback in both a developmental and constructive
manner
● High energy, ability to make decisions quickly
● Proven track record in maintaining strong cost controls and quality
standards
● Involvement in local community
Education and/or Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
Bachelors Degree preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $125,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
