DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Location: District of Columbia (National Capital Region) – Hybrid.
(This hybrid position is based in the NCR, with occasional travel support as necessary.

Your expertise will be instrumental in identifying, assessing, and capturing new business opportunities worth millions, particularly within the Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Community (IC), and federal civilian agencies. With your strategic acumen, you will formulate a comprehensive Business Development plan that aligns with our ambitious growth objectives. Required Qualifications:

A Driven, Strategic, and Visionary Leader
  • Proven Track Record of Success: Bring a minimum of 10 years of experience in Business Development or sales within the defense industry, with a demonstrated history of capturing and winning contracts valued between $1M and $25M.
  • Deep Industry Expertise: Possess an in-depth understanding of the DoD, IC, and federal civilian agency missions, procurement processes, and key stakeholders.
  • Strategic Vision and Execution: Formulate and execute a comprehensive Business Development strategy that aligns with our ambitious growth objectives.
  • Unparalleled Relationship Building: Establish, cultivate, and maintain a robust network of contacts within the target market, leveraging your exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Thriving Thought Leader: Represent ISPA Technology at industry events, conferences, and professional organizations, serving as a brand ambassador and thought leader in the IT defense sector.

Other Required Qualifications:
  • U.S. Citizenship Required
  • Active DoD Secret Security Clearance, Top Secret (SCI Eligible) preferred.
Minimum Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Engineering, IT) with a minimum of 10 years of experience in Business Development, sales, or a related role within the defense industry.
