**This is a remote opportunity, with travel to UMP locations as required**
As Director, IT Operations at UMP, you’ll be charged with leading the efficient operation and maintenance of all IT Infrastructure including on premise and cloud systems, data, and voice communications activities for our providers, clinical and non-clinical team members in dozens of locations across multiple states and remote workers beyond those boundaries. Reporting to the VP, IT Infrastructure, this role partners with the broader IT leadership team in forecasting technology requirements and upgrades to existing technology to improve efficiencies of existing systems. Leads a team of System Engineers who Executes the organizations IT Strategic initiatives and system strategies.
Requirements:- Leads a team of systems engineers to provide best in class systems confidentiality, integrity, availability across UMP’s hybrid national IT infrastructure.
- Directs the daily activities necessary to keep the technology infrastructure running seamlessly, efficiently, and effectively while ensuring compliance with established standards and policies.
- Leads the infrastructure discovery and integration activities for newly acquired organizations.
- Create and maintain documentation and SOPs to ensure consistent, high quality IT operations.
- Build and maintain relationships with business leaders, especially those in operational leadership roles such as Practice Managers & Directors, in order to cultivate open communication and foster trust in IT.
- Work closely with the Information Security team to implement security policies and enforce zero-trust across the infrastructure environment.
- Partner with IT Support and regional Service Delivery leadership to embody a customer-centric and patient-first operation while serving as the organizations highest IT operations escalation point.
- Manage third party vendors or service providers who augment internal IT operations functions.
- Anticipate and respond to operational challenges involved in managing a highly complex suite of applications and technologies.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience leading IT operations teams with at least 7 years working as a senior level systems engineer or Architect.
- Senior level technical certifications a plus( Azure, Vmware, Windows)
- Proficiency with process and project management methodologies, tools and processes
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills and proven ability to motivate and influence others.
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves and be as hands on as necessary to get the job done in a collaborative, high energy environment.
