Technical Writer (Operations & Policy Analyst 2) - IT Modernization Project
Job Description:
The Oregon Department of Justice is seeking to hire a Technical Writer (Operations and Policy Analyst 2) to serve on its Legal Tools Program Team. We are seeking a meticulous and self-directed individual to develop comprehensive publications as a systems manual to meet business and stakeholder needs. This role will coordinate and manage the composition, review, and edit of technical documentation, materials, and reports to be utilized as a manual to all users of the legal tool product. This manual will serve as a resource to all of those using the legal tool product through the agency.
At this time, the position is Limited Duration through June 30, 2025. The current plan is to ask for continued funding into future biennia. If future funding is secured, there may be a future recruitment for permanent appointment. A developmental, work-out-of-class, or underfill (until MQs can be met) rotational opportunity may be possible if the best candidate is internal, and a rotation will not negatively impact the business.
Apply today! You will find that we embrace inclusive and supportive work environments and respect the diverse perspectives, knowledge, and experiences of our coworkers and those seeking to join the organization. We strive to build an inclusive and performance-oriented workplace where all individuals are welcomed and appreciated, leading to increasingly higher levels of fulfillment and success.
