Comprehensive responsibility to support the TCloud program management functions with direct responsibilities in managing the Operations and Maintenance team and day to day TCloud environment support. This is a Sr. Management role responsible to the Deputy Program manager, for day-to-day operations execution of the Department of Treasury customer’s workloads.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the Operations and Maintenance Team. This includes cost control, hiring, day to day managements, Subcontractor staffing management and technical knowledge of the operational environment.
- Maintain strong technical oversight of the Cloud environments and Cloud Services Lifecycles.
- Develop strong relationships with customers to understand their needs, to anticipate obstacles to success, and to advocate internally on their behalf.
- Manage team to execute in a quality manner as defined by the Operational SLAs and RTM lines items.
- Regularly track projects, Upgrades, migration changes, patching and all other Operational and Maintenance scheduled tasks.
- Create data and deliverables to ensure quality and adherence to internal and government standards
- Work with recruiters and program personnel for requisitions development, management and interview coordination and skills verification.
- Oversee staffing process, working with multiple stakeholders to ensure sufficient candidates are identified, vetted, and onboarded efficiently.
- Provide a deep knowledge of the environments managed and the Cloud Service Providers (CSP) utilized.
- Provide weekly and monthly metrics for reporting to senior management and customers using MS Excel and other tools.
- Develop and continuously enhance processes to improve and optimize process efficiency and maximize throughput.
- Execute rapid restoration of service where needed and provide both initial and final after-action reports toward the Continual Improvement Process
- Support Task Order creation and process execution
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
- Strong Cloud experience with direct experience with multi-CSP technologies, cloud Migrations, allocations and knowledge of Cloud Provider and Managed services methodologies
- Experience running an Operations and Maintenance organization with critical uptime requirements and multi-cloud technologies.
- Oversee recruitment process including sourcing, vetting, training and placement of staffing
- Participate in on-boarding and off-boarding of O&M team members, coordinating start dates, crossovers, security briefings, departure dates, departure paperwork etc.
- Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance
- Cloud Certifications (AWS, Azure)
Additional requirements:
- 14+ Years of job-related experience and relevant Bachelor's Degree
- Cloud certifications a plus (Oracle, Google)
- ITIL Foundations (V3/V4)
Target salary range: $175,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
