Position Purpose
As a Digital Marketing Specialist at Vibe Credit Union, you will play a key role in developing and implementing effective Digital Marketing strategies to elevate our brand presence and drive measurable business results. This role involves creating and managing digital campaigns across various platforms, analyzing data to measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts, and staying updated on industry trends to optimize strategies. The ideal candidate will have a blend of creative thinking and analytical skills, along with a deep understanding of various Digital Marketing channels.
Essential Duties May Include:
- Digital Marketing
- Stay abreast of current Digital Marketing trends and new technology and proactively monitor competitor web strategies to be best-in-class.
- Work in collaboration with the social media specialist to oversee the development and execution of social media strategies, including content and media.
- Research, develop, and execute Digital Marketing solutions in all appropriate channels to align with the CU's strategy and objectives.
- Author and ensure content in Digital Marketing channels is accurate, approved, and issued in a timely manner while maintaining Vibe's brand. (i.e., website, email, microsites, blogs, social media, mobile technology, news releases, etc.).
- Website Administration & Analytics
- Manage day-to-day operations of both the main website and its mobile counterpart. Responsibilities include updating content, ensuring the site's functionality, addressing technical issues, and implementing any necessary improvements or enhancements. implement changes, optimize user experience, and ensure that both versions align with the overall Digital Marketing and branding strategies.
- Use Google Tag Manager to implement and improve website conversion tracking.
- Create data visualizations via dashboarding and other custom reports.
- Oversee blog and partner product sites.
- Implement in-product messaging for online and mobile banking platforms.
- Paid Advertising & Search Engine Optimization
- Coordinate with agencies on paid digital advertising strategies.
- Manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads, social media, and all other relevant advertising mediums.
- Develop a SEO strategy to have a significant impact on traffic; Conduct keyword research and implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies.
- Work with the marketing team to develop content for SEO strategies.
- Stay up to date with SEO industry trends; identify growth opportunities.
- Monitor website analytics to track SEO performance and make data-driven recommendations.
- Digital Analytics & Reporting
- Identify key campaign tracking metrics and provide regular reporting to gauge performance of Digital Marketing campaigns.
- Share consistent, comprehensive reports outlining key metrics, insights and actionable recommendations to adjust strategies and maximize ROI.
- Make recommendations for refinement of targeting parameters, testing ad creative or optimizing landing pages.
- Create and update marketing scorecard on a monthly basis, providing updates on pre-determined digital KPIs.
- Other
- Cross-trained to serve as back-up for Marketing Campaign Specialist.
- Support the marketing team with other projects as needed to assist in achieving marketing objectives and goals.
- Possess thorough knowledge of the Credit Union's products and services.
- Work with vendors to complete projects accurately, on time, and within budget.
- Represent Vibe Credit Union in a professional manner.
- Understand regulations and internal policies related to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and complete annual training
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business or marketing preferred.
- 3-5 years related experience in Digital Marketing.
Skills/Abilities
- Ability to interpret complex datasets, draw conclusions, and translate findings into actionable marketing strategies.
- Must possess strong proficiency in Google Analytics, demonstrating expertise in data analysis, key metric interpretation, and the ability to extract actionable insights.
- Knowledge of designing and conducting A/B tests to assess the effectiveness of different marketing strategies.
- Skilled in analyzing data across various marketing channels to assess overall campaign performance.
- Must possess a strong proficiency in web content management systems.
- Flexibility to adapt to changes in Digital Marketing trends, algorithms, and industry standards.
- A mindset for creativity and innovation.
- Detailed oriented, follow-through, and analytical skills.
- Ability to thoroughly proof-read and edit written communication for proper grammar, punctuation, sentence structure, etc.
