Austin Benefits is currently looking for a new member to join our team as a full time Benefits Specialist - Digital Integration. Responsibilities include:


  • Create and update modern employee communication materials that allow the client’s employees to better appreciate and understand their group benefit plans via SmartBenefits.
  • Configure and maintain client benefit websites, while creating and publishing bulletins, alerts and videos to client benefit websites.
  • Create and update new hire and exit kits for clients, streamlining the onboarding and offboarding process with technology enhancements.
  • Create, maintain and enhance client reporting features via SmartBenefits.
  • Responsible for establishing the EDI feed process and setup.
  • Responsible for system integrations.
  • Subject matter expert on SmartBenefits, ensuring cutting edge solutions and changes for our clients as enhancements are made available.
  • Responsible for client and prospect demonstrations and seminars.
  • Responsible for updating the executive team and the Austin team with changes and improvements.
  • Identify potential challenges, improvements and opportunities with SmartBenefits.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with teammates, insureds and vendors to ensure all communication needs are met.
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:


Must have 2-5 years of related administration skills and experience. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of products especially Word, Excel, Publisher and PowerPoint. College degree required.
