POSITION RESPONISIBILITES
As the Graphic Design + Digital Media Specialist at Towerpinkster, you will be at the forefront of digital strategy with a focus on developing content that resonates across platforms and supports external and internal storytelling, with oversite from the Manager of Marketing + Communications, this position works closely with the marketing and business development teams, as well as the firm's design department.
Graphic + Video Design
- Provide GRAPHIC DESIGN support across the firm as needed. Content may include handouts, social media + web graphics, presentations, digital signage, internal documents, and more.
- Helps maintain the firm's brand standards across all print and digital content.
- Provide support, as needed, to the firms design department to create support graphics, fundraising materials, and video content.
- Coordinate, shoot, and edit video content to support the firm's internal initiatives.
- Maintains the firm's social media calendar, seeks out content from team members, writes and shares content to the firm's various accounts.
- Plans out important industry or national celebrations with unique content consistent with TowerPinkster's brand and values.
- Updated and maintains the company website including new project information, thought leadership, and staff information.
- Thinks proactively about user experience and find ways to improve the website and other digital platforms.
- Manage website SEO and institute digital marketing strategies.
- Track website and social media analytics to guide decisions and improve performance.
- Assist with marketing events and conference support.
- Capture photography of external client events as well as internal celebrations and events.
- Assist, as needed, with award submissions.
- In collaboration with design team, develop new presentation templates, title blocks, and client collateral materials.
- Utilize web-based platforms to generate project specific websites which may include survey information gathering, online participatory graphics, and campaign focused materials.
- Support internal departments including Human Resources, Accounting, and Information Systems with GRAPHIC DESIGN needs.

position qualifications
Required Skills + Qualifications
- Exceptional creativity and innovative GRAPHIC DESIGN/design skills.
- Seven or more years of professional experience with design software, including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Adobe Premiere Pro as well as all Microsoft 365 products.
- Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience creating graphics and video content in an office environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a field focusing on communications, GRAPHIC DESIGN, Digital Media, and/or photography.
- Experience managing corporate social media platforms.
- Proficient with a digital SLR camera
This position is located in Grand Rapids or Kalamazoo with frequent travel between offices required.
