The Digital Marketing Intern will be responsible for helping build and execute our marketing initiatives, maintaining our public facing channels, and help us grow our brand. You will work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager and other team members to help research and produce content and distribute across multiple channels to grow brand awareness, user engagement, and leads. In this role, you will use your passion for SEO, PPC, organic social, and data analytics to help our team generate great results from our marketing initiatives and understand our sources of success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in paid Digital Marketing campaign development and implementation in support of lead/demand generation, acquisition, and awareness goals. Help to optimize targeting, ad copy, and ad content.
- Understand keywords driving Vestmark's organic search volume – experience with Semrush or similar platforms a plus. Help to combat website optimization issues and strategize/implement new ways to improve our search rankings with content.
- Use social media skills to help provide insight into news ways of increasing engagement and followers, improve website traffic and deliver an extraordinary client experience.
- Help to execute social media content strategy across different social media channels. Write and edit social media posts for Vestmark's LinkedIn, X, and YouTube accounts.
- Work with marketing team to monitor data quality in HubSpot and ensure success metrics are established correctly for all programs in the marketing automation platform.
- Stay current on Digital Marketing trends and platforms to take advantage of new opportunities.
- Assist with the preparation and organization of conference materials for Sales events.
Requirements
- Ideal candidate has at least six months to one year experience in Digital Marketing, either through internship or full-time roles.
- Participate in day-to-day execution of Vestmark's PPC and SEO strategies.
- Work with the Digital Marketing Manager to drive cross-channel initiatives through keyword research, test execution, and competitor analysis.
- Assist in the planning and monitoring of integrated Digital Marketing strategies and tactics across multiple channels including social media, email marketing, search, and display.
- Pull, analyze, and report marketing and business data to identify trends and patterns that reveal customer behavior and habits.
- Writing experience, an eye for detail and excellent proofreading abilities.
- Knowledge of working with B2B audiences preferred.
- Strong organizational skills, work ethic, and attention to detail.
- Strong knowledge of various social platforms (LinkedIn and X) with Google Analytics experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills; able to respond and exchange ideas clearly and effectively through writing, speaking, and presentations; shares appropriate information to keep people informed.
- Design experience with Canva and/or Adobe CC a plus.
- Other duties as assigned.
