The Coordinator, Development role requires a talented individual who will handle a variety of administrative and creative duties in support of daily operations in the Development department with Entertainment One.
- Position provides internal support to Development Department
- Will perform basic administrative duties such as maintaining and organized system/folders for all creative materials
- Heavy research into new concepts and ideas
- Note taking in creative meetings
- Creating pitch decks using PowerPoint or Canva
- Generates ideas and source undiscovered talent for potential projects
- Assists Development Executives with their ongoing projects
- Social Media deep dives for casting
- Edits and updates the active development slate
- Pulling footage and timecodes for sizzle reels
- At least one year of experience in a development position
- Strong organizational skills
- Communication skills: including cold casting and impromptu interviews, writing, and email
- Ability to perform unique and innovative research methods
- Knowledge of PowerPoint, Canva and Microsoft Teams
- Resourcefulness
- Atop current trends pertaining to television and pop culture
- Social media savvy
- Experience writing treatments
