Partnership Resources, Inc., a non-profit disability services provider in the Twin Cities/West Metro area, is seeking a Designated Coordinator to lead and empower a team of Direct Support Professionals at our day program in St. Louis Park. The Designated Coordinator is a leadership position integral to achieving our vision that every person with disabilities thrives in an inclusive community. We are seeking an organized self-starter who can balance detail-oriented compliance work while compassionately mentoring their team to success.
This is a full-time non-exempt position with a work schedule of Monday – Friday 8 AM – 4 PM (40 hours per week). No nights, no weekends!
Details:
Provides hands-on support in the day program, coordinating site staff and client services
Hires, trains and supervises a team of 8-10 Direct Support Professionals
Works with the Co-Coordinator and Site Team Leader to lead the team in developing, planning, and implementing high quality client programming focused on recreation, skill building and community engagement. We offer a wide variety of activities for participants to choose from and partner with community organizations to offer specialized arts opportunities
Manages a caseload of 30-40 individuals served: overseeing 245D documentation and person-centered outcomes, mentoring staff on implementation, and leading support team meetings
Oversees and enforces health & safety procedures at assigned location including medication administration, lifting/transferring, and environmental hazards
Compensation:
Pay: $19.00 – $22.00 per hour depending on qualifications

Requirements:
Experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older AND/OR relevant post-secondary education that totals a minimum of 4 years
Ability to learn, understand and implement Chapter 245D licensing requirements
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Critical thinking skills and ability to independently problem solve
Ability to work collaboratively with a team, leadership experience preferred
Must be able to lift and transfer clients, adhering to the physical demands of the job and safety requirements/policy
Ability to travel between office locations as needed
Must be able to pass a background study with the MN Department of Human Services
Must be authorized to work in the United States without a sponsor visa
