Dermatology Practice Front Desk Receptionist

We seek a skilled and experienced Front Office Receptionist / Coordinator primarily for a Full Time position in our Santa Barbara office with occasional shifts in our Solvang location.

We seek exceptional team players with outstanding communication skills, strong attention to quality and detail, good PC/customer database and excel skills, and a commitment and passion to provide the finest patient experience in a high volume office.

• Do you have outstanding verbal and written communications skills?
• Do you like to multi-task and warmly and professionally answer telephones, check in and assist patients in person, help process co-payments, coordinate patient requests with medical professionals, and help process and scan patient records?
• Do you enjoy working in a tight knit environment that succeeds through team work?
• Do you put customers/patients and colleagues first?
• Are you highly skilled using customer relationship management (CRM) systems and/or customer/patient medical record data bases, and consistently follow-up and through, and keep commitments?

Minimum requirements:

• 2 years of customer service experience in person, preferably in dermatology.
• Excellent telephone and written/verbal skills
• Good PC/CRM/EHR/Computer/Excel skills a must
• Thrive and enjoy a fast paced environment that requires multi-tasking
• Comfortable working in a tight knit environment, where team work is required for success
• An AA degree or BA/BS degree is a plus but not required
• Marketing experience is a plus but not required

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
