Front Desk Receptionist - Closing Shift

We here at Centrelake are looking for a Front Desk/ Pre-certification Representative that is punctual, detail oriented, responsible, who can answer the phones, and is professional, respectful, as well as able to multi-task to fill a full-time position here in our Ontario location.

Reliable schedule Monday - Friday with rotating Saturdays/ Closing hours are 11:30am to 8:30pm M-F, Sat 8a-5p

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accessing report of Pre-Certification cases pending pre-certification completion
• Obtaining required documentation such as Patient demographics, insurance information, and referral to begin the Pre-Certification process
• Calling Insurance provider and obtaining pre-certification details in order to provide services to patients
• Call Patient’s Primary Care Physician and provide/obtain crucial information needed to complete pre-certification process if required by insurance
• Must be able to follow up on pending pre-certification requests in a timely manner
• Will be required to train in our scheduling department to obtain knowledge on scheduling process

REQUIREMENTS

• Knowledge of radiologic procedures and standards (a plus)
• Highly skilled in maintaining strong relations with providers and patients
• Customer service background and focus
• Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 Codes
• Medical billing, Insurance verification experience (a plus)
• Must possess good oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with staff, physicians and patients
• Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, work well under pressure
• Bilingual in English/ Spanish a plus
