Salary range: $91,00 - $101,000

Additional Compensation
Aegis may offer bonuses or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
Responsibilities:- Oversees and provides guidance for a team of facility engineers.
- Responsible for the plans, requirements, designs, and execution of the reconfiguration, maintenance, and alteration of the electrical, mechanical, fire, and architectural components of a 650K square foot, 24x7x365 facility supporting missile defense simulation, testing, and operations on Schriever Air Force Base.
- Responsible to run the day-to-day engineering task load for the maintenance and project work.
- Responsible for the Technical Data Packages, specifications, requirements documents, trade study reports, and technical products for all facility work.
- Ensures quality and code compliance in engineering designs and artifacts.
- Oversees the preparation of engineering plans and basis of estimates for facilities projects.
- Performs resource management activities to ensure a balanced workload and milestone completion.
- Ensures design reviews are performed and adjudicated in a timely manner.
- Supports the development of statements of work when external support is required.
- Ensures all contractually required deliverables are submitted on time with high quality.
Basic Requirements:
- Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) and 8 years of general experience; Associate’s degree and 6 years of general experience; Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of general experience; Master’s degree and 2 years of general experience.
- Must have 5 years of experience with the maintenance and upgrades of large facility electrical, mechanical (HVAC), fire suppression, plumbing and structural systems.
- Must possess strong leadership and team building skills.
- Familiarity with DoD/Air Force Facility Engineering & construction policies. Understanding of the Unified Facilities Criteria and federal, state, and local building/life safety codes.
- Candidate must be able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
Desired Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in an electrical or mechanical engineering field.
- Professional Engineer certification.
- Knowledge of proposal, contract, and budget practices are highly desirable.
- Strong systems engineering and project management background.
