We have an immediate opening for a Facilities Project Engineer at our aerospace location in Pueblo, CO. The primary focus of this role is to support development and design of chemical or furnace processes.
Roles & responsibilities include:
- Work with a cross functional team to deliver overall project utilizing project management skills.
- Lead and support capital projects from scope definition to quoting to equipment release.
- Assist in installation of new designs/processes
- Oversee industrial piping, chemical processes and/or furnace processes.
- Work with a cross functional team including finance, manufacturing engineering, EH&S, and operations.
- Management of vendors of services (trades), equipment, and engineering.
- Benchmarking suppliers and other sites with similar processes in place
The ideal candidate will have the following combination of education & experience:
- Bachelors Degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent
- 3-6 years of industrial/facilities engineering experience
- Project Management
- Demonstrated experience in reading and interpreting blue prints and schematics
- Capex experience to include capital equipment procurement & implementation
- Experience working and understanding structural and piping & instrumentation drawing.
- Experience in waste elimination a plus
- Willing to travel
- Due to the nature of the work, you must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
- Mostly Office Environments, Occasional Shop Floor involvement.
- Substantial amounts of telephone and computer work.
- Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.
- Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.
- Typical 8 hour days plus lunch / 40 hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9AM to 4PM
- Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.
