Duties:
- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments for patients
- Verify and update patient information in the Dentrix system
- Collect and process payments from patients
- Assist with insurance verification and claims processing
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and address their inquiries or concerns
Skills:
- Proficient in using Dentrix or similar dental practice management software
- Strong patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally
- Knowledge of medical office procedures and administrative tasks
- Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures
- Experience working at the front desk of a medical or dental office
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize work effectively
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
