- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using Eaglesoft or similar dental software
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
- Maintain patient records and update medical history, insurance information, and contact details in the system
- Verify insurance coverage and process insurance claims
- Collect payments and provide patients with accurate billing information
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
```Experience```
- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or medical receptionist preferred
- Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is a plus
- Proficiency in using Eaglesoft or similar dental software for scheduling and record keeping
- Knowledge of medical administrative support functions, including medical records systems
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff members
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage patient appointments and records accurately
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor
