SalaryLooking for full time dental office manager for small but busy family dental practice. Applicant must be reliable, punctual, hard working and a team player. Minimum of 3 years experience in dentistry required, knowledge of Carestream Softdent software a plus. Looking for candidate who can work independently and has great communication skills. Must be knowledgeable in verifying dental insurance, processing predeterminations and claims and generating treatment plans. Must be comfortable presenting treatment plans and finances to patients. General responsibilities include answering the phone and scheduling appointments and collecting payments We treat our patients very well and perform honest, high quality dentistry. - Maintain a full schedule of patients daily
- Assist patients with understanding and accepting their clinical diagnosis
- Verify insurances
- Submit insurance claims and reconcile payments
- Calculate fees for dental treatment
- Coordinate financial agreements for the patient's portion of dental treatment costs
- Administrative duties including checking patients in and out and coordinating payments
- Maintain and clean and well-organized office
- Support clinical staff and perform other duties as assigned including dental assisting when needed.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in leadership positions with strong knowledge of Dental operations
- Strong technical expertise in dental insurance benefits
- Demonstrates leadership and strong communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 34 per week
