Dental Receptionist

Sparkle Dental is a premiere general dentistry practice serving metro Detroit for 13 years. We are seeking an experienced, reliable, dedicated, knowledgeable front office lead receptionist to provide exceptional patient management. You must be able to communicate effectively and be self guided in facilitating patient scheduling, verifying insurance, billing and informing patients.

Softdent software experience is a bonus, otherwise you will be trained accordingly.

Duties
- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office
- Schedule appointments and manage the office calendar
- Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries or concerns
- Verify insurance coverage and assist with billing procedures
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure efficient workflow
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to protect patient confidentiality

Experience
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Previous experience working in a dental setting
- Proficiency in using office software, phone systems, and electronic medical/dental records (e.g. Softdent)
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
