Dental Front Office Receptionist/Scheduler

Overview:

We are seeking a front desk receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our office, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent patient care and creating a positive impression for our patients. The ideal candidate will have chair side experience along with front desk experience.

Duties:

- Greet and welcome patients, visitors, and staff with a warm and professional demeanor

- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the office calendar

- Collect patient information, update records, and verify insurance coverage

- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies

- Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers and schedule follow-up appointments

- Handle patient inquiries and provide accurate information about services offered

Experience:

- Previous experience as a dental receptionist

- Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar dental software systems is highly desirable

- Strong computer skills

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
