Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the Front Office and ensure smooth functioning
- Greet and assist patients, make them welcome
- Answer phone calls, assist patients to obtain their dental care
- Schedule appointments for dental care, checkups and hygiene
- Collect payments and bill insurance, post payments to patient accounts
- Make financial arrangements to assist patients with obtaining their necessary care -
- Keep patient electronic charts current
- Promote the practice at every opportunity and create a positive image for Hyattsville Dental Care
Skills:
- Proficient in dental computerized systems and software
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Previous experience in healthcare customer service is a plus
- Familiarity with dental office administrative and/or clinical procedures is an advantage
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Strong clerical skills, including data entry, filing, and record keeping
- Ability to transcribe accurately with attention to detail
- Strong customer support skills to assist visitors and handle inquiries

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
