Salary**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled Dental Biller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling Dental Billing processes efficiently and accurately, with proficiency in Eaglesoft and Dentrix software. The Dental Biller will be responsible for managing patient billing, insurance claims, and ensuring timely reimbursement for services rendered. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a customer-focused mindset are essential for success in this role.
**Responsibilities:**
1. **Patient Billing:**
- Generate and manage patient invoices for dental services rendered.
- Ensure accuracy of billing information, including procedure codes, fees, and insurance details.
- Process patient payments, including cash, checks, credit cards, and insurance co-payments.
2. **Insurance Claims:**
- Prepare and submit insurance claims electronically or by mail.
- Verify insurance coverage and eligibility for patients.
- Follow up on outstanding insurance claims and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
3. **Accounts Receivable Management:**
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Coordinate with patients and insurance companies to resolve payment discrepancies or denials.
- Reconcile insurance payments and patient balances.
4. **Eaglesoft and Dentrix Expertise:**
- Utilize Eaglesoft and Dentrix software proficiently for billing and administrative tasks.
- Generate reports and analyze data to track billing trends, outstanding balances, and revenue performance.
- Provide training and support to staff members on Eaglesoft and Dentrix functionalities as needed.
5. **Compliance and Documentation:**
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and billing guidelines, including HIPAA.
- Maintain accurate records of billing transactions, patient information, and insurance correspondence.
- Stay updated on changes in insurance policies, coding procedures, and industry standards.
6. **Customer Service:**
- Assist patients with inquiries related to billing, insurance coverage, and payment options.
- Communicate effectively with insurance companies to resolve claim issues and expedite reimbursement.
- Provide exceptional customer service to enhance patient satisfaction and retention.
**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience as a Dental Biller or similar role in a dental office setting.
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft and Dentrix software is required.
- Knowledge of Dental Billing procedures, insurance claims processing, and CDT codes.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and billing documentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of healthcare compliance regulations, including HIPAA.
- Certification in Dental Billing or related field is a plus.
