We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dental Billing Specialist to join our team.
As a Dental Billing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional management of all aging reports both patient aging and insurance aging reports.
Your expertise in dental terminology and Dentrix software system is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Post EOBS, enter efts, send statements in a timely manner, follow up on outstanding claims.
- Assist in the management of patient records and treatment plans
- Utilize dental medical billing and coding knowledge to accurately process insurance claims
- Maintain up-to-date patient accounting records.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and patient satisfaction
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, addressing their concerns and answering their questions
Skills:
- Proficient in medical terminology related to dentistry
- Familiarity with dental office systems and procedures
- Ability to handle medical collections efficiently and professionally
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification or training in dental assisting or healthcare administration is preferred
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a dental office or healthcare setting
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
