Duties:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational games
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and naptime
- Assist with homework and provide tutoring support
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians regarding the child's progress and any concerns that may arise
- Follow behavior management techniques to promote positive behavior and discipline when necessary
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the childcare area
Skills:
- Experience working with children in a childcare, nannying, babysitting, or caregiving role
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with children, parents, and co-workers
- Knowledge of age-appropriate developmental milestones and activities
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address any issues that may arise during childcare sessions
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques to maintain order and structure in a childcare setting
