The Data Entry Specialist oversees the processing of applications and child and family data and is responsible for all matters concerning data management in the Head Start program. Position is under the direct supervision of the Head Start Director.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Supervise, train and support Data Entry staff
· Prepare managerial, monthly and annual reports
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of department regulations and program software advancements
· Develop and coordinate program software training and instruction for department staff, as needed
· Assist in the development of comprehensive triennial community needs assessment

Minimum Requirements of the Position
· Possess a high school diploma
· Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in business from an accredited college or university and at least one year related experience is preferred.
· Previous Data Entry experience
· Be a US citizen OR have a Permanent Resident Card OR an alien Registration Receipt Card (Form I-551)
· Have and maintain a clean driving record (NOT TO EXCEED 6 PTS)
· Have and maintain a criminal history absent of convictions for violent crimes or any crime against children.
