Job Description
Emergent Talent, a division of Emergent Method, is seeking qualified candidate(s) to fill a temporary position focused on Data Entry and application processing. This individual must be flexible, responsive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment and embrace the challenges of working with several stakeholders, often under a tight time frame.
This is a remote, full-time position and requires a commitment of 40 to 45 hours per week.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Perform high-volume Data Entry and basic management of electronic files
- Troubleshoot issues surrounding transactions, data setup, system errors, etc.
- Review financial records, underlying documentation, and historical reports for accuracy and completeness
- Validate documentation to ensure information is consistent and properly reconciled
- Perform various tasks, such as word processing, spreadsheet and database maintenance, and utilizing computer technology
- Process applications for service and complete necessary Data Entry as well as research
- Perform other duties as requested by the project team
- At least one year of experience in case management, applicant intake, eligibility determination, application processing, Data Entry, or related experience that clearly demonstrates comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Willingness to learn new technologies and additional skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and other reporting functions
- Polished phone etiquette and strong verbal communication skills with the ability to maintain empathy and provide exceptional customer support
- Attention to detail
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to monitor and report on multiple deliverables with a focus on meeting and exceeding deadlines
Preferred qualifications:
- Understanding of Medicaid, SNAP, and other similar government programs
- Experience with integrated eligibility systems and enterprise applications
