Job Summary:

I am currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Clerk to join my team. The Data Entry Clerk will be responsible for accurately inputting and maintaining various types of data (mostly customer contact information) into our computerized systems.

Duties:

- Collecting and organizing data from various sources

- Entering data into databases or computerized systems

- Verifying the accuracy and completeness of data entries

- Transcribing information from paper documents to digital formats

- Creating and updating spreadsheets

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required

- Proficient in using office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel)

- Excellent typing skills with a high level of accuracy

- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors or inconsistencies

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Job Types: Contract, Temporary

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

• This is a fairly easy job for someone who can type and use spreadsheets, but so far I have not been able to find someone who has the ability to actually finish the job. I am assuming it's because they wore too many hats in this business. I need someone for this job (an only this job) who is consistent, reliable and self-directed. I need someone I can count on to finish what they start. I am looking for an employee who will be assertive in their communication efforts, especially when they do not get responses via email, text, phone or whatever, meaning they need to be persistent in trying to get ahold of someone and keeping the ball rolling, not waiting around for the other person to respond later.
