CACI is looking for aCyber Exercise Planner, TEAM LEAD to join our team on the Transport & Cybersecurity Services (TCS) program supporting the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). The Program's functional capabilities are to provide the information technology (IT) infrastructure services required to deliver timely, relevant, and accurate GEOINT in support of national security.
TCS provides innovative design, engineering, procurement, implementation, operations, sustainment, and disposal of transport and cybersecurity IT services on multiple networks and security domains, at multiple locations worldwide to support the NGA GEOINT mission.
What You'll Get to Do
The Team Lead for Exercise Planning and Evaluation Services will directly work with the Branch Chief of Cybersecurity Readiness. They will take previous experience with DoD/IC exercise planning to develop and execute custom, realistic, scenario-based exercises to test the effectiveness of cybersecurity training, tools, processes, and procedures within the Cyber Security Operations Cell (CSOC).
The Exercise Planning and Evaluation Services Team Lead will oversee and direct cross-functional teams supporting exercise scenarios and event development. Because of this, the candidate will be required to effectively work with and communicate with varying levels of stakeholders including TCS leadership, senior executives, technical customers, non-technical customers, and all TCS staff down to the lowest levels.
More About the Role
- Coordinate and facilitate requirement gathering sessions and work with process owners and stakeholders to define and document required cybersecurity process evaluations
- Draft and maintain exercise life cycle documents, including those needed from early concept and development planning meetings through execution, to include after-action reporting.
- Develop and execute exercises ranging from tabletop exercises intended to identify policy and process issues, to functional exercises with active scenarios developed to test cyber incident response plans command and control procedures, and cross-enterprise coordination
- Develop after-action reports, lessons learned, and process improvement plans that incorporate recommendations and modifications to cybersecurity plans, processes, and protocols.
- Provide weekly and/or monthly briefings to the customer on current work and completed work as required.
- Act as the representative for any JFHQ-DODIN, USCYBERCOM, or IC-SCC exercises on behalf of the customer. This will include attending scheduled meetings, working groups, and/or briefings as required
You'll Bring These Qualifications
- Candidate must have a TS/SCI with the ability to obtain a Polygraph
- Demonstrated leadership experience serving as a functional manager or TEAM LEAD for a minimum of 4 years
- Sufficient knowledge of enterprise cybersecurity systems and technologies with the ability to interpret network architecture documentation.
- Demonstrated experience providing briefings to an executive audience.
- Must obtain a DoD 8140.01 and 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technical Officer (IAT) Level II certification before starting.
- Understanding of cybersecurity compliance policy, programs, processes, and metrics.
- Excellent verbal and writing skills with the ability to write clear and concise assessment reports.
- Understanding of the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC)
- Bachelor's degree, or higher, in Computer Science, Cyber Security Engineering, or IT-related discipline. An additional 6 years of experience in cybersecurity may be substituted instead of a degree.
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have
- Demonstrated 4 or more years of experience supporting an IC or DoD agency in exercise planning
