OBXtek is staffing for a Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC) Exercise Planner - Level I for the National Guard Bureau in Arlington, VA.
The work will include but not be limited to the following:
- Produce a report of information outlined in the Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC) listed in TE4 (STPA Checklist).
- Provide the tasks and deliverables required by the JELC for approximately 220 events per year.
- Provide support for the Collective Training Branch (NG-J374) working at the NGB/NCR home office.
- Ensure that they provide proposed planning, training and support for NGB and JFHQs-State IAW CJCSM 3500-series policy documents.
- Support the requirements of exercises during: command post exercises (CPX), field training exercise (FTX), staff and table top exercises (TTX) at the National, regional, State, local and unit levels using Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS), Joint Training Information Management System (JTIMS), Joint Lessons Learned Information System (JLLIS) and Army Training Information Management System (ARTIMS) to automate the development of joint collective training events:
- Facilitate and document exercise products. Formats and deadlines are subject to change, at the discretion of on-site program manager and military lead.
- Validate and verify that event execution is in accordance with pre-approved planning.
- Update branch upon the completion of the event execution.
- Upon return from the event execution, complete TE9 to summarize Exercise Objectives, Observations and Findings, and Conclusions within five (5) business days.
- Upon return from the event execution, commence tasks within TE3 and report weekly status during CRE weekly meetings.
- Provide JELC planning status during the weekly JIET synch meeting.

Qualifications
Requirements:
Active Secret Clearance is required
- 3+ years of military training experience
- CBRNE (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosives) experience
- NGB J3/7 joint planning experience
- JELC experience with CEP, JEP, NEP programs
- Experienced exercise and training course facilitator
- Experience with JTIMS, DRRS and JOPES
