SalaryWe are looking to hire a part-time Front Desk Dental Receptionist at our privately owned family dental & orthodontist office located in Garden Oaks/Heights area of Houston.
Our patients are top priority, and we are committed to providing 100% satisfaction throughout the patient's entire experience–from when they walk in our office to the end of treatment. Therefore, our future team member must be a positive team player, have a friendly, outgoing & bubbly personality. Must be able to clearly communicate insurance plans with our patients fluently in English or Spanish over the phone or in person. Our new team member must have at least 1 year experience in a dental office with open dental software experience.

Duties include but not limited to:
- Being responsible for a diverse range of administrative tasks.
- Daily Dental Front Desk responsibilities include answering calls, scheduling & confirming appointments, and post treatment follow up calls.
- Verify and file dental insurances with Medicaid & private insurance, verifying insurance benefits, preparing and presenting treatment plans, collecting co-pays/deductibles, filing daily insurance claims, entering insurance payments.
- Provide administrative support to medical staff as needed.
- Keeping our office patient waiting room clean & organized.
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality and privacy.
- Greet patients with a smile!
Qualifications:
- Open Dental software experience-2 years
- Previous experience working in a dental office setting-2yrears
- Ability to multitask
- Well organized
- Highly motivated
- Responsible & trustworthy
- Must be Bilingual
- Strong patient care service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
