Description
This position manages incoming quote requests and obtaining and soliciting sales by developing and maintaining key customer relationships. This position also provides product and service information, resolves product and service problems, and provides product support. Revenue generation and customer satisfaction is achieved by working with support teams, coordinating with marketing programs, maintaining customer relationships, and providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers in accordance with the company’s vision and values.
Requirements
1. Handling Incoming Phone Calls
- Answer both direct and indirect (ACD) incoming calls
- Work with Administration to provide order information.
- Utilize internal resources to solve customer problems.
- Communicate with external suppliers and internal departments regarding issues.
- Properly ensure expedited deliveries and communicate with all necessary departments and suppliers.
- Make persuasive presentations over the phone to both new and current customers.
- Adapt sales approach or solution to accommodate the customer versus force fit the customer to an existing model.
- Overcome competitive sales objections/position product against competition.
- Possess a working knowledge of Isaacs Fluid Power Equipment Company products and services, continually updating and enhancing product knowledge.
- Increase sales by proactively upselling, with a special focus on cross-selling, to ensure best value for customers.
- Recommend alternate products when applicable based on availability and cost.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual goals.
2. Process Quotes as requested
- Possess a working knowledge of vendor products, pricing, ERP systems.
- Develop accurate product quotations or communicate with other departments to develop proper quotes
- Quote new business at the optimum profit possible, while meeting customer needs.
- Understands the economics of the quote process both internally and within the customer’s business.
3. Create and Maintain Positive Customer Relationships
- Establish rapport and concentrate on building a trusting relationship with customers.
- Create and implement account plans with Outside Sales and visit customers as appropriate.
- Provide exceptional customer service, both internally and externally.
4. Coordinate with Outside Sales, Marketing and Outbound Tele-sales on sales activities.
- Provide feedback from customer interactions to appropriate department to develop new business relationship opportunities.
- Communicate market intelligence to the appropriate internal departments.
- Coordinate opportunities for new business.
- Work with sales and other internal departments as needed to develop or expand business opportunities.
- With increasing experience, they can develop the ability and expertise to support outside and inside sales with detailed solutions, parts utilization, and other specific technical questions as needed.
5. Utilize strong time management and organizational skills.
- Prioritize and follow through on issues.
- Create reports for management on a timely basis.
- Maintain and update internal systems daily.
- Present progress weekly, monthly, quarterly, and update annually.
6. Clerical/General Administrative
- Respond to routine emails, phone calls, etc.
- Make copies, print documents, etc.
- File paperwork
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.83 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
